I’m putting on a Men’s Campout for the men at our church and their sons this weekend. I will be cooking 6 butts, 50 pounds of leg quarters, about 40 burgers, and about 50 hotdogs over the weekend.

I will cook it on site. This will be my fourth year of doing it. The men love to pop chairs up close to where the cooking is going on and shoot the bull all night. I will start cooking the butts Friday night and that will be lunch on Saturday for us. Nothing like trying to sleep while the smoke from the cooker drifts through your tent.
