Seen an old Polish fellow taking just the outer leaves,to make them.I use the outer leaves on the bottom of the pot.Points

Your ingredients are spot on with mine, I saute the meat and veggies prior to stuffing the cabbage rolls.  It takes the guess work out of when the filling is cooked.
