Food here is pretty much Asian centric - Chinese stir fry, Thai tomyum, Curries just to name a few. Malaysian food is more commonly known to be a melting pot when it comes to flavor, style and ingredients due to influence from various communities and people who reside in Malaysia. 

In terms of barbequeing and smoking meat, we're not that big about it here. In fact, most BBQ equipment are from overseas and when we talk about BBQ here, its usually as simple as charcoal grill + marinated meat. Food smoking is less known about in here.

Visit Malaysia for the food sometime! I hope you'll like it here :)
