Spent a couple years in Germany in the Army. Always loved hitting up the local Metzgerei when I traveled around the country. One of the coolest things I saw while I was on a field exercise was a German man pulling up to the outpost in an old van. Nothing to see here right? He opened the side door to reveal a functioning BBQ pit inside the van with meat ready to sell. Needless to say, the soldiers bought him out quickly. Thanks for resuscitating those good memories.
