Hey guys, I'm going to try my first smoke on my weber kettle and looking for a forgiving piece of meat to smoke... any ideas? Maybe a Tri tip?

Tri tip, or any of the beef roasts. Thenlean cuts you don't want to over cook.

Chuck or seven bone roasts are good too. Cook these to a higher internal temp and pull or shred.

Chicken is forgiving as is a pork loin. Again don't over cook.cook chicken to an IT of 165 in the breast. Pork loin to an IT of 145.
