Flank Hot Jerky

    Doing some flank for a guy at my wifes work. 3.25 lbs. 2 slabs like this one. Hard to de fat the flank.

    Put the blades in the dishwasher to clean em better without getting sliced up....OUCH

    I was just about ready to mix the ghost when she text me and said use the other.....WTH is he crazy.

    Using CY Hickory jerky mix. Good stuff maynard...

    Well he wants hot do he? Hows about some Blairs 2 am then. 1 tooth pick dip heats 10 gallons of chili, I'll give him 2 dips worth.

    Ooh, I use Satan's Blood in my chili and jerky, which is a 800k su chili extract! Your jerky looks like it's going to be might tasty. Can't wait to see some more pics!

    That slicer looks like an awesome tool!

    Just put in smoker with the AMZNPS smoking with hickory.

    OMG that will be [​IMG]HOT.  Is this guy making this stuff as a gag or is he just that crazy. The ghost in-it's self is HOT.

    I'm sure i will hear tonight how he likes his $35 worth of hot flank jerky.

    Here the flank in the 6 rack.  Approx 1 hr 20 of smoke then into the dehydrator to finish @ 145

    You sure have the jerky set up. Then you have some really good looking jerky too.

    You got me thinking hard about getting one of those slicers. Do you know of any models that can take a thicker steak?

    They work good if you have allot to slice. I think most of them take 3/4" thick. LEM might take 1"

    My wife said he loved it  [​IMG] and its almost gone.

  15. That's insane. Nice looking jerky though. I doubt I would try it.
