First time ever

neighbor gave me an electric smoker. I figured I'd try it out for the first time today. I picked up about on sale spread it with mustard and put a rub on it last night. Into smoker this morning. Wish me luck please!!!

Starting with electric or propane is actually sort of nice. You'll be able to concentrate on your seasonings without worrying about temperature control as much. I'm sure your first cook will be great! Good luck, and welcome to the obsession...
