Stay safe folks! Daughter has had a tree thru the roof and flooding in the house. They are safe and won't know much about damage till daylight. Multiple tornadoes in the area and 3 confirmed deaths with 1 missing.

Keith

Welp.. All is good here... No damage and really not much rain... A lot of debris in the yard... Never lost power...

All good here but others not very good. It went in east of where they had forecast where the last 2 or 3 hurricanes have went in really got to feel for those people. It went through basically the same areas when it made landfall. Brian's area was hit hard again he is save with no major damage but the area is bad and things are bad for a lot of people along the path of this monster. This one caused lots of storm surge along the coast

Everybody ok in my family thank the lord.
Major tree damage though. Thankfully nothing landed on either house.

OH BOY... HERE WE GO...

At the moment they are saying it will just skirt us (Tampa Bay area)... BVut we all know that can change at any giving moment... I have 25 gallons of gas (both vehicles full too) for the gen set.. 4 bags of charcoal... They are telling us to evacuate, But I am not...

Jerry ( pineywoods pineywoods ) ... Hope you are all set as it's dead on coarse for you...

I would like to see that nobody gets it... since it's gonna hit somewhere I just hope it moves west some more...

STAY SAFE Y'ALL AND BUG OUT IF THINK YOU NEED TO...
I’m in citrus county, where you located?

That's the worst feeling.
Hoping the best Brian.
Still no word from Tom and Linda. I heard Ashville got 30" of rain and they live 20 minutes from there. They had just had a lot of rain. They have a creek running through their backyard. Hopefully they OK and just dont have any cell service.

11 deaths in GA and 15 in SC confirmed.
Most from fallen trees and family in GA had their mobile home tossed across the road into a peanut field. 1 family member was still missing as of last night.
Took me 2 1/2 hrs to make the normal 1 hr trip to check on my mom yesterday.
She good just a couple of big pines downed, like most in her area. Not confirmed but definitely looks like multiple tornadoes in her area.
Lots of damage to trees and properties.

Only 3 stores in town yesterday with power and LONG lines at the pumps.
We are not accustomed to these

Savannah registered 80 MPH winds and a neighboring country had 100 MPH.
But we are very blessed with only loss of power and trees. Wife's cousin lost 3 big pecan trees in his yard and damage to his porch. Gonna be swapping out labor for wood!
Prayers for everyone and the power co crews working in dangerous conditions!

Keith

Saw a huge convoy of linemen headed east to do line work in the wake of the storm....gonna be a while for most to have power I'm afraid. Gonna suck for a while.

I hear entire valley towns got wiped out from all the rain in the mountains....not good at all. I hear a death toll of 40+ and rising....

From the weather channel...

-South Carolina, 1.19 million outages

-Georgia, 899,938 outages

-North Carolina, 745,414 outages

-Florida, 676,275 outages

-Ohio, 329,040 outages

-Virginia, 231,920 outages

-Kentucky, 209,451

Wow....very extensive....

Well, things are pretty bad around here for a lot of folks. I'm one of the fortunate ones and have power now, but many, many do not. There's no ice available and because of the power outages, no gas for miles and miles. People are driving long distances to get gas, ice and someplace to eat. Long lines at gas stations and no idea when power will be restored. Good friend had to throw out most of his insulin so there are plenty of medical problems that will start to show up. The crews are working their butts off, but it just takes time and I'm hearing a couple of weeks for many...

Same here Charles. Waiting in line today (after riding all over town) for 1.5 hrs.
When I finally get 2 cars out, they announce "cash only" WTH ?
I had $22😁. Filled up a gas can and a splash in another. Went back later , after the tankers were delivering and managed to fill up 1 vehicle and the 2 cans.

GA Power just sent a text saying 10/03 estimated restoration date 😑

But I smoke a beautiful pork loin rubbed with Fiesta rub from Buc-ees!
It was mighty tasty!
