That's a nice catch there! I was surprised when I ran across folks that thought bass weren't good for eating. Grew up on trout, then moved to warmer area and discovered bass and catfish. Been back in the mountains now for 11 years and back to trout. We also have pike.
Only been out once so far this year, had to wait for ice off and an opening in the weather. Got skunked and blamed my fishing buddy for being a jinx. Should have a couple of days coming up next week to go out. Supposed to get snow again the next few days.
