Fillet Mignon (From Leftovers)

I have a bunch of Leftover Beef Tenderloin. Some left over from what I just smoked (Mother's Day), and some left over Raw.
I want to do some Reheating Tests to compare different methods.
So I Sealed up 5 packs of Smoked Beef for the future, and I kept enough out for these two Meals we had within a couple days of the Big Smoked Meal.

So since the weather wasn’t good, I decided to try a couple of indoor heatings.

I did some in my Toaster Oven for one meal, and some more in the Frying Pan.

They were both Great, but since there isn’t any Fat on this Tenderloin, I think I’ll reheat the rest of the Smoked ones in the SV.

I also did some of my favorite "
Baked Tater Slices Fried in Butter" to go with my second night's meal.

More about it in my Captions Below.

Thanks for Looking,

Bear

NEXT NIGHT'S SUPPER

Frying Slices of Leftover Bake Potato in Butter.
This is my favorite thing to do with leftover Baked Potato, or with a Fresh Baked Potato:

Looks good, Yep a lean piece of meat for sure I'll bet it stays moist in the SV

Bear those left over slices look great! I’d eat them cold and save yourself the time of reheating them! Bet they taste just as good cold!

Sous vide is a great way to reheat filet in my opinion. Can’t go wrong.

Nice experiment! Thanks for sharing.

Love the left over fried baked tater . Great for breakfast . Reminds me of deer camp .
You make some good lookin beef !

Looks great. Both of them. But as much as I HATE to say it I bet the SV will be better.

The meals all look great but I am putting my money on the SV warm up being the best! From my experience there is no better way to warm about anything. If it was good the first time it will be as good or better out of the SV. Like!

Bear looks like a great way to utilize the leftovers, and I'd take a plate of either. Mignon is good nomatter how it's cooked.

Point for sure.

Yup--Deer Camp food can be Great, unless it's all that fresh air & relaxed atmosphere that does it.
I love those Tater slices fried nice & dark like above.

Thank You Adam!!
Yup---I have to say, that part of the test is going to be just a Confirmation of the fact that Reheating a Lean hunk of meat can't be done as good as an SV, with any other method.

And I agree totally on the SV being the best for Reheating, which was actually the #2 reason for my getting one.

Thank You Chris!!
Yup--All ways are Great, but the reheating is best with the SV. Never gets overcooked.
