Most of my favorites have already been listed. There is one more Alistair MacLean movie that I've liked since I was a kid: Where Eagles Dare. Great thriller, I think there even used to be a mountain fortress play set based on it or Guns of Navarone back then.

All great movies! No complaints about any of the above.

"Mo Pic Charlie" was a haunting flick for sure and somewhat obscure, glad to see that somebody other than me actually saw it. LRRP at its typical.

"The Lost Battalion" with, believe it or not, Ricky Schroder, is a great flick. Look for the line "Now this, you got to worry about" up close and personal is the worst of it all

While maybe not a full blown war movie, "Blood Diamonds" seemed like the coming of age movie for Leonardo DeCapri. I never would have thought that Schroder or Dicapri would break the teenager typecast that I had of them but war will make a man out of anyone even if it is just Hollyweird.

What is my favorite?

Well I Guess it would just have to be what ever is playing in front of me at the moment.

Has to be

Kelly's Heroes
Flight of the Intruder
Green Berets
and too many more to mention...

I'm a war film buff. If I can get my fire wire to computer setup working, I will be recording every war film as a project.

My top ten (Not in any particular order) If they are on I'm watching them....

•Band of Brothers, I have read so much about the series, several associated books, etc, it is a great war series and a great tribute to our fathers and grand fathers that fought in WWII, my father was combat engineer in Pacific in WWII. Maybe cause of my dad I joined the Navy and still got shipped to Vietnam.

•Black Hawk Down

•We Were Soldiers

•Das Boot

•Run Silent Run Deep
