I have been wanting one of those disk woks for several years now and finally the wife  pulled the trigger and got me one for an early birthday present. I can't wait to use this baby after seeing several posts on SMF. This isn't fully put together but you get the idea. She even got me the adjustable propane burner/stand and a trivet to set the wok on once your food is done. Qview to follow.

Hey Ross that is the exact same set up I have. Did you install the little tabs that go on the burner to raise the wok off the burner? I forgot that one the first run and the wok got way too hot.

Here is the paella recipe if you need something easy to start with

I have used mine for a lot of large breakfasts too - Now the fun begins and Happy Birthday

I have not installed them yet. It came while I was at  home over lunch hour so I unpackaged it and threw the stand together quick so I could  snap a few pictures. I will put it all together tonight. I can't wait to use it.

I remember that post of yours. I will definitely be trying that. I think I read somewhere that frying fish is a good way to break in or season  the wok.

OMG I have never seen one of those. We cook with a wok at least twice a week. I have to get one of those!!! Happy early birthday Ross!!

Now that is one interesting looking wok...for a minute I thought you had fired that bad boy up in the LR. That will definitely be the center piece of any backyard party...congrats & a early Happy Birthday as well. GF says I already have enuf pots and kitchen stuff....she just doesn't understand

Awesome enjoy the new toy, I love cooking in a wok, no one is allowed to wash it but me, same with my 55 cup coffee maker, neither have ever seen soap.

Thanks Ross, I just showed Judy & I think this will be on our wish list.

The guy that owns the company is a Marine and if you enter USMC in the coupon code box you save 10% on shipping too. This folds down thin enough to fit easily in my motorhome and that is one of the reasons I bought it

I can't wait to put it together and read up on how to season it. It is seasoned from the factory but I'm sure there must be somethign I have to do  to it before I use it.
