Found a small brisket on sale it weighs 2.02lb. Last night I covered it in Lea&perrins Worcestershire sauce and rubbed it and refrigerated overnight. Fired up the smoker @ 6:45 to 180 degrees and put the brisket in @ 7:00.

Well boys my smoker went up in flames had to put it out burnt the brisket pretty pissed off about it now I need help do you guys like electric smokers and if so what brand do you prefer what do I need to look for???

That sucks. Sorry it happened. What type of smoker is that? Maybe let the manufacturer know. I have a Weber Smokey Mountain (charcoal) and I love it. Can't say much about electric models, but good luck in your search. Was any of the brisket redeemable?

OUCH! Thankfully you saw the fire and were able to extinguish it before any other damage was done.

As for electrics, the Masterbuilt Electric Smoker is about the most popular one on the SMF.

Nope couldn't save it just glad I didn't torch the house as well. It is a master forge smoker. I have a 500 gal propane tank I'm getting ready to start on a reverse flow.
