Just used a piece of brisket I cured.. (thanks pops) and old farts for recipe..
:p

I made the perfect and most basic yummy reuben sandwich ever..
Cured in brine brisket. Lots if pickling spice.. ,cooked in a slow cooker and chilled.
Bunch of thin slices of this point I cooked..
Some good quality Swiss and the thousand island dressing.. Good rye bread..
Best sandwiches ever!!

What spices did I you use in your cure? A pickling blend or one you made?
How long did you cure it?
Slicing a crock pot cooked corned beef must be difficult. How did you keep it from falling apart?
Nice sandwiche

Now that is a good looking sammie!
And also one of my all time favorites!
Very nicely done!

Thanks all! :)
Nice people are even on looking.. lol

I did a thread a couple weeks ago.
I put the corned beef into the fridge after it was done for about an hour or 2 and then slowly sliced it thin.. it worked pretty good.

It was pops brine and the pickling spice plus some garlic cloves. 1 gallon 3 big pieces of brisket I separated and used.
