My local GFS had one of their people order a few cases of these by mistake. They had them marked to clearance at $2.49 a lbs. as it’s a non standard item. I googled it and it seems to be a cut that’s gaining popularity. Supposed to be very beefy like short rib and tender. I of course had to buy 3 of them for future experiments. Into the freezer for now.

Be interested to see what they are when opened up . Watching .

Yup. I want to see what they look like.

Me too. I cannot even get chuck in my area so I’ll have to enjoy viewing yours.

Be a week or two guys but I’ll make sure to do a thread on the first one I do.

I’ll make sure to do a thread
Give this a bump or something so we don't miss it please .
Well ,
As usual Google a topic , and one of the top 5 hits is from SMF .

Jcam, they look like the cut up version of the 130 chuck short rib. If so they are tasty!

Never heard of them. But at 2 dollars and change, I would have stocked up. There is always Pot Roast or Chili to make any cut fork tender...JJ
