Yesterday I posted about a pretty big smoke of proteins for future use in the general discussion section. One part was a chuckie for chili. Well here is it going.

Package chili starter, black, kidney, chili beans. Touch of cajun and diced onion and shredded chuck. Nothing fancy but we like it.

I'm not a preacher but I'll have to go Amen to cooking over or with wood burning just tastes better. Especially in east tn 2nd week of January and its dang nice outside at 7 pm.

I haven't done open fire cooking in a while.

Now I want to get a Dutch Oven and tripod!

Sure looks good, I another one who hasn't cooked over an open fire in a very long time. I sure miss it.

    Point for sure.
