Hey y'all
Long time lurker, first time poster. My name is Brendan, I am an IT Professional living in Saskatchewan, Canada! Yes. The great white north! Growing up with family ranging from Canada to Michigan to Kentucky and Tennesee, I am big into meat! Smoked, grilled, fried, roasted (usually in that order). Been grilling on a cheap little 10+year old 2 burner propane grill for quite a while. Attempted smoking on it many times with chips and a smoker box with decent but "meh" results. Been following the mods of the Char Griller Smokin Pro and have decided to buy one myself. It will be my first REAL smoker and my first 'que of my own. Was also looking WSM but I feel like it would be too much for just a starter 'que. I love this forum and everyone involved. Y'all are sooo helpful and supportive, I look forward to growing in my experience with grilling and sharing in experiences with the great folks here!
