I have used pops cure for some back bacon and it turned out great now I want to try some smoked dry beef can I use pops cure for that as well??

Post pics of your dried beef.
 
You certainly can, unless you are going to do a really long dried curing process like bresaola, etc. the you'd need to use a different curing process
