North Texas, Texoma
Went out to Lake Texoma and the Red River this morning. Threw the lure around for a while. I used to be a big fisherman than my fishing buddy died and started working in Dallas. This was years ago. Had a very nice F/S boat and sold it because lost interest and no time. Now that I retired want to get back into it. I have figured out you need a boat to fish around here! Use to do a lot of pond hopping back in the day. Prices are through the roof for used boats plus I want an aluminum V hull this time which makes it even harder to find anything.

Went to that plum tree and most still not ready. They about the size of cherries. They not very sweet so I think I going to skip on these. Mustang grapes be ready in couple months. Took dog for walk than starting to get hot!

And boat just listed that might just work.

I have a friend and classmate that lives in Kingston, OK just North of the lake. He's quite the striper fisherman.
We just sold our boat this spring, a Lowe Stinger 175. It was a nice fishing boat but we out grew it with the kids and grand kids. We really would like a pontoon boat but it wouldn't fit in the garage so we have decided to rent rather than own.
It looks like the ol' dog enjoyed the day as much as you did.

That what I really need. A friend with a boat. I do have one that fish's with his wife on the weekends. He has a lake house across the roosevelt bridge. Long drive over there.

Looks like you had a great day Brian. That looks like a fishing machine for sure.
After talking to my buddy not sure. Really need a little bit bigger for Texoma. He stuck on four cycle engines but 2 be OK if has injection. It does have the GPS trolling motor that a plus. Might offer $7500 but probably would not take it. Used boats are high now.
