I was thinking of another pellet grill a while ago! But Seeing posts like this re emphasizes that the Weber Kettle and a couple accessories is really all that’s needed!

I am a pellet grill guy for ease as life can get busy… but there is nothing like a good charcoal cook! My wife has a huge grin when doing some burgers on the kettle!

Inherited her Dads old Weber, he used to smoke a turkey at Thanksgiving on it. I remember his method he told me… going to surprise Nic this Thanksgiving and smoke a turkey using her Dads kettle and method!

Sorry for rambling… had a squirrel moment!

I need to do this as well, Chris did you ever perfect the dipping sauce? or have a good one to share.

Ramble on Justin it's all good. The hardest part of making the onion is the dredging. You don't want a huge build up of the flour mixture in between the slices.

We'll turn you into a Kettle-head sooner then later.

Well Chris, as stated the pellet grill is for easier cooking as life gets busy. But when time allows… love charcoal cooking! My absolute fav way to cook when time allows!

Might already be one… have my 22”, my Sons 18”, my FIL’s 22” and the newly acquired 22” Performer from a storage unit find! Not to mention the American Stars and Stripes addition that’s still in the box.

And Weber wise still have the mini WSM build as well as the 18” WSM.

Maybe I qualify?!

I haven’t looked into this yet… but can and experiment a bit.
