Bison customer service.....

....more like lack of. Bought their Airlighter. Right out of the box it worked. Used it several times prior to tossing the package. Failed to light. Contacted them on Dec. 28. Got a response on Jan 4. Sent them a response same day. No reply, sent them another email on Jan. 29. Got a response on the 31st. Traded emails on a few more times. On March 1st they said they were finally going to send me a new one....12 days later I am still waiting.

Never dealt with LEM....but have seen pretty much NOTHING but bad. Real shame some of these shops are this way...kinda makes one wonder how they stay afloat...

And your point is? In case you failed to grasp this my problem is with their absolutely horrendous customer service....Couldn't care less about their reviews on Amazon...

I didn't know if you were aware of the short "in use" time of that particular unit..... 

Did you charge the battery ???   Did you refill the butane tank ???   It does seem like a very short use time......

$90.00  bucks just to start your wood or charcoal?  I'd rather rub two stick together, and save the dough.  LOL

Come on now. 

A single newspaper sheet will start a basket of coals.  I don't like the paper soot, so I just put my propane torch under it, until bottom coals get lit, than wait a few minutes for the rest to get hot.  If I wanted instant fire, I would use a gas or electric grill /smoker.

I'm not knocking anyone for buying such a thing.  We all have our toys that cost more than they are worth, just because they are fun.
