I'm finally getting my biltog/drywors barrel made. Found it at Tractor Supply, NFS even.
Got a couple more things to add before my first run of biltong.

Drilling for the 1/2" oak dowels for hanging.

Going with 3 dowels for now.

Screen for the fan also.

I am getting ready to make some biltong again. A few month ago in Arizona I just used a cardboard box with 4 dowels and a fan. I worked well for me. Over the lat few months I have moved to Washington and is planning to set up something different to hang.dry the biltong. I am definitely going to follow your thread to get some new ideas for a biltong dryer box/container.

Please share your recipe and process for biltong.

Rick you putting in a temp probe?
Richie
I have my temp controller still that the light bulb can plug into. I prob dont really need it because of such a low wattage.

Nice permanent set-up...JJ
