Vending at the Axe and Knife Throwing World Championships in Appleton, WI. Going to have a booth for our rubs, dips, salsa, as well as shirts and hats. Been lasering patches and pressing them onto hats as well as pressing shirts all day. First big event for us so pretty pumped.

Some of my work.

Have fun and enjoy the event!

Looks good, you using DTF (Direct-to-Film) technology for the imprints on the shirts?

Yeah. I do laser engraving, friend of mine does dtf print. We bartered, did some engraving for him, he prints my shirt designs.
DTF is awesome (although time consuming), larger orders that are not too many colors go silkscreen. do it all the time in my business

Yeah, not sure how long it takes him but he runs off 11 ft sheets of the designs for me. Gets about 20 per sheet.

oh that end is fast, 22" wide sheets by unlimited length. The slow part is cutting them apart and heat pressing. He lets me use his double heat press so it goes a little quicker.

nice merch! good luck at the event! hope you sell out!

Well, back from the event. Did pretty well and had a hell of a time. Learned that axe throwing is one awesome community, the people are amazing. Sold quite a bit of rubs and merch, met lots of great people, was a fun event to watch, and got to try my hand at hatchet and big axe throwing....I didn't do well. 😆

I think the most memorable moment was this lady that came up to our dip samples and wanted to try our Carolina Reaper Ranch. We warned her that it is very, very spicy...she blew us off like we were idiots, took one bite, then went looking for water in a panic. That was the last we saw of her the entire weekend. 🤣

Definitely need to get out and do more events like this, we had a blast!

Sounds like a great time.

When I go to any vendor type event the first table I look for is the sauce/spice folks and the jerky folks.

When the seller/maker says it very very spicey…you’re supposed to hear that. Made me smile.

Glad it was good time and you sold a lotta stuff.

Yeah, was a great time. In fact, opened a new opportunity as well. Just got a call from the event planner at the Resch Expo Center across the street from Lambeau Field in Green Bay inviting us to be a vendor at Meatfest and also asked if I could do a 20 minute demonstration. Uh....Heck yeah!
