Just a quick one with some of the leftover Smoked Side Pork from the other day.

Without further ado, I give you the BELT Sandvich!





A couple slices of Side Pork, fried to crisp. One Fried Egg done just right in the pork fat. A Roma Tomato sliced thin, shredded lettuce and mayo on white toast! A nice quick lunch and mighty tasty!
 
I just got done eating, and now you make me hungry again

OUCH I just bite my finger reading your thread and looking at that sandwich. Looks great.
 
That is an outstanding sandwich...I love the fried egg on there; any sandwich that runs down your arm while eating it starts off in my top ten!
 
Thanks, your side pork qview is what gave me the idea. I had my butcher cut it extra thick. Next time I think I'm going get a nice slab and try curing it for a week or so.
 
Looks great thats one thing I really look forward to when we make bacon but leave the mater off mine

Ya know, I didn't even think about it...

And now that you mention it, I think I can come up with a real good one. ...I like sammiches!
