Bear’s 50th Class Reunion

Hopefully I won’t bore too many people:

I bought this camera to take to my Reunion so I could take pictures of the Pig Roast !!
Then it turned out the guy they were going to get to do the Pig Roast had Died, and his Son who took over could not be found.
So they got another outfit to do the catering, and the food absolutely sucked, and wasn’t worthy of taking any space on my camera or my computer, so I’ll just throw out a few Pics for you all. The only food that was any good was the “Class of “66” Cake.

The “55 Chevy” in the Pics is so well known, it’s almost like it belongs to the Whole Class. “Donnie” fixed it up while we were in school, and he drove it to school for our last 2 years. He ended up the best Body-Man anyone in our area ever knew. He brings it to all of our Class Reunions, and everyone looks forward to seeing it each time.

Class Statistics:
Started with 242 in the Class of “66”.
Lost 39 as of June 4, 2016.
64 Classmates (Plus Spouses) made it to the 50th Class Reunion on June 4, 2016.

BTW: The place we had the Reunion was "Benner Hall", in Richlandtown.  A Former Home Court of Wilt Chamberlain.

Hope you enjoy the Pics,
Bear

Here’s the Cake——Only decent food that was there:

Military Vets:
18 of the Classmates who made it to the Reunion had served in the Armed Forces (Bear in back row, Blue shirt, second from the Right):

Great looking get together. I know it was fun. Most everybody I went to school with scattered everywhere and no one keeps in touch sad.

But it looks like you had a good time.

Excellent pics of the car. Love me some Detroit Muscle.

It's so cool that Donnie held onto it that long. My Father-in-law bought a 68' Barracuda when he was in high school back in 73'. Still has it today.

The best part was that he parked it around 1983 and it stayed there in pieces for over 30 years. That is until last year when his smart-ass son-in-law (me) bought a sweet 69' Charger. That's all the motivation he needed. He wasn't going to stand for that. He sent the Barracuda out to be restored a month later!

I also like the pic of the Veterans. That's quite a distinguished looking group of proud Americans! Thanks for your service.

Yes, to a 90 year old. I'd bet that back in the day, her presence in school probably kept the janitors pretty busy moping the hallway floors

Great photos! Thank you for sharing. How did you avoid smoking PP for everyone?
I'm half way to the 50th reunion. Haven't Made one personally yet. I think I'll wait until the 50th. Won't have cars like that though!
Thank you for your service!

Thanks Jimmy!!

The Prom Queen isn't there, but the Football Queen is, and still looks good!!

She's the Thin one near the middle of the front row, with the Flowered Top & the White hair, next to the girl with the Dark Hair & the Blue Pants.

Thank You!!

I'll take the 69 Charger!!

Donnie has another "55" Chevy too. He drove the Black one to the Breakfast that day at the High School, and the Red one to the Dinner.

We have a lot more Veterans too. Those 18 are only from the 64 Classmates that made it to the Reunion.

Vietnam took a couple of my class too.

90 ???

Actually some of them would look good to most 50 year olds, but lets face it they're all older than I am, and I'm 67 years old.

So none of us are exactly Kids.

Thanks,

Bear

Glad you had a good time, John.  My class is also scattered all over.  Truth be told, I would have to guess that everybody I went to school with looks a lot like your class members do--except for me, of course.

Thanks Gary!!

We had Classmates come from many States, but this year the farthest came in from Wyoming.
