Metered electric is usually a higher cost than using the LP
Need to calculate the cost for the water heater running LP versus electric.
That's where that unsightly 100# tank makes the difference.

Cheap and easy.

I haven't gotten our first electric bill yet. So, I'll figure that out when I do. I'm using propane for the water heater. The tank seems to be pretty well insulated. After almost 4 hours with no gas. The water was still pretty warm. 12-gallon heater. I use the watch dog app to monitor electric. So I can figure this out soon enough. The electric fireplace chews through the juice at 12 amps. But kept the living area toasty!

The water hear in my truck camper is well insulated surprising for a 1980's unit. We didn't shower in there so it was all dish washing, food prep, and hand washing.
