You are a man after my own heart sir! I have often commented that stick burning is almost a therapy in it's own right. It does demand your attention and it requires you to actually accomplish something. No computers deciding when it's time to turn on a fan or alarms telling you when it time to do something. The rewards are satisfying as you obviously are aware.

Nice looking non computerized ribs!

I appreciate the kind words. Going "Back to Basics" is always great therapy.
  • Start a fire...
  • Open beer...
  • Look at dial...
  • Adjust damper...
  • Look at dial...
  • Adjust stack choke.
  • Look at dial...
  • Add wood...
  • Open beer...
Repeat as necessary!

All good stuff!

Great therapy session! Ribs and snacks look awesome! I just knew with all that extra grate space you wouldn't be able to resist throwing more food in there!

Points!
LOL.... You know me well Case!  Once its fired up I started looking around the house for a few more goodies to toss on the grate!  What the heck!

Good thing too.  Those Jalapeño peppers tuned out real nice!

I'm thinking a chicken on the mini tonight.

Where does the "get Nekkid and dance" come in? would that be between the 'open beer' and 'adjust diaper'?
