It was one heck of a week Gents and Ladies.  It started on Monday in NYC and ended in Springfield on Friday.  Back to home base Friday night. I was pooped. Talk about cultures at opposite ends of the spectrum!

So today I'm taking it easy.  Time to be me. I tossed 2 racks of ribs on the stick burner.  Over kill equipment for 2 racks?  Why not the Webber or MES?

Well... Because... Its a beautiful day and I need to prove to myself I can still create a little TBS.

This thing is the best therapy there is. It demands your attention.  A wonderful distraction. Heck just running it makes me feel better. Doesn't even need any meat in it and I would feel better!

But I'm sure happy it does!

I'm feeling much much better now.  Ya'll have a wonderful weekend.

Brian

That's great b ! Always nice to just be home, get the TBS cranked & maybe have a couple  Glad your able to enjoy the day bud ! Thumbs Up

 Enjoy!

Wish it was nice here. We're having thunder with horizontal rain/snow!!!

Looks like a great time to me

Hope you enjoy your weekend and those great looking ribs.

Awesome Brian! Sounds like a perfect, quiet Saturday...sitting by the pit, poking the fire now and then, maybe having a cold beverage or two?

Plus you're gonna eat good for dinner!

Enjoy!

Brian, You really make me envy you. Both with those good looking ribs and just hanging around.

You gave me a great idea...... firing up with no meat inside. That makes for a really good nap.

Get some rest, Joe

Sounds like a good plan to me. Who says you have to fill up the grates ALL the time? Wish I had those clear skies here instead of 22mph winds & 45 degrees. Go ahead and clear your head [emoji]128578[/emoji]

Sounds like you needed to rinse all the krap from your brain...   Good job....

PS, I'm copying the picture of your choke plate so folks will have an idea of what I's talking about....   PSS... it has cobwebs on it....

Sorry that the weather isn't cooperating!

Great way to spend the day and bleed off all the stress of the week.  Just carry on as you've been doing.

Gary
Thanks Gary!

LOL  I know.  Bad right? A clear indication that I'm working too hard brother Dave.  I gotta stop that krap.

Hey Brian,

I'm with you, hanging around the smoker, smelling smoke, & having a beer is the best relaxation there is!

The ribs & apps look real good!

Points for a great way to spend the weekend!

You are a man after my own heart sir! I have often commented that stick burning is almost a therapy in it's own right. It does demand your attention and it requires you to actually accomplish something. No computers deciding when it's time to turn on a fan or alarms telling you when it time to do something. The rewards are satisfying as you obviously are aware.

Nice looking non computerized ribs!

Great therapy session! Ribs and snacks look awesome! I just knew with all that extra grate space you wouldn't be able to resist throwing more food in there!

Points!
