After looking at Rafter H BBQ Rafter H BBQ post on a Shepard's pie I had to make my own. I had only tasted a pre-made one from the frozen food section before and thought a home made one would be better.

I bought what I needed to make one yesterday but mid way thru it I could not find the worshy sauce that I bought not too long ago. My wife kindly said she tossed it out because it was expired. Great! I had to replace it with some fish sauce and a little bit of soy sauce to get it close to what I wanted. It did work out in the end.

Getting ready.

I looked at many versions of recipes online and went with what I would like to make in mine. Lamb and beef with lots of veg.

A new Pyrex dish to show off what I made.

And the plate shot.

It was so much better than the frozen one I tried before. My wife took a large portion of it to work and just texted me that it was a big hit with her two best friends that shared it with her tonight.
