The post about Nancy Baskin Michlin.  Please read it, and follow her progress, she is amazing!  Yes, she is a vegetarian, but she can guide us to the right foods that will lower our risk of this deadly disease.  My wife has had 2 deadly cancers so I am very close to this subject also, and I know you know someone who has been affected also.

I feel for ya...my mom has been through it twice...last time she also had a double mastectomy...took her over a year to recover from the treatments once they were finished...

Thanks for the info. My dad has overcome Esophageal and Lung Cancer, and a cousin that had a Double Mastectomy at the ripe age of 32. I've lost many many dear friends to various forms. It doesn't help he lives in "Cancer Valley" either.

I worked as a Radiation Therapy Tech for several years.  Sad...but if caught early a better prognosis.
