SCV - So Cal
We recently were given a new opportunity in our life to take in our niece after her mother passed. It has been a bit of a challenge but we are working thru it. One thing was our "storage" room was quickly converted into her room and she was not happy with the living conditions. I don't blame her for that but it was so sudden.

A few months later after things have settled down we contacted the guy who did an amazing job fixing up our kitchen. He unfortunately was going thru some of the same with his family but when ready he made us a priority. He started a few days ago and is almost done.

These guys work hard and are very reasonable in the costs. He also is helping me with other side projects that I will gladly pay him along the way.

So today I took a 3LB Tri-tip that I cut up last night and marinated and cooked it over coastal oak on my Santa Maria pit.

Before that I smoked up 8 tomatoes, 4 red Jalapenos, 2 garlic loves and 1 red onion for a great salsa.

My wife made up an amazing balsamic rice dish to go along with it.

Since it was a mediteranian dish we also made a fresh veggie dish.

The only picture I took was the finished dinner. I was kind of busy.

All the guys loved what I fed them.

Nice!

I've done a few jobs over the years where the clients went above and beyond and did the same exact thing.
