It's 35 here about mid Michigan. I was outside and blinded by a flash of lightning then the thunder hit about the second loudest blast I can remember hearing.

Yeah, same in Indy. We've been hearing thunder the last couple of hours and it's been raining hard off and on all afternoon. 62degrees right now. Looks like we're on the edge of the worst of it, though. I don't mind. At least it's not snow.

I guess its been an uncommon winter in lots of places...so far we haven't had a bit of snow, and not many sub-freezing days to speak of.  Old man winter can still jump up and bite as late as March around here, but so far, about the mildest winter I can remember.

The same front is hammering the Kids in PA and is working it's way into NJ today. Yep, unusually warm for Feb but beats another foot of snow we would get if it was colder. Dinner today is Patty Melts, I'm too old to brave the rain and smoke anything...JJ

It's the yo yo type up and down temps that are messing with everyone, Cranky. It was 60 here Saturday ( I smoked some ribs!) and topped out at 30 something today, and it's been that way all winter so far. Half my crew is sick. I'm glad we haven't had much snow, though. April can't get here soon enough!!
