Thanks for the heads up Steve. I just got off the phone with my mom and she told me Meijer has chicken on sale real cheap too. I'll be going there tomorrow for sure. Just in case the one by me doesn't have the ribs on sale, what Meijer did you get those? I work in Macomb on 23 mile so I could probably make a trip over your way.

I picked up some pre-experation Country Style Ribs at Kroeger last weekend for .99 a pound and feasted on two full racks from the GOSM.

WOW! Only thing I could find a god rpice on was shoulders this week $1.99/lbs. Even butts were $2.99/lbs. Wal Mart says they're not going to sell packer briskets anymore just flats and points for $3.99/lbs - that's BULL!

I gotta try the other WalMart in Lisbon - they can't do this to me just like last year briskets dry up after summer!

Last Tuesday I bought 4 racks of spare ribs at my local Kroger's for $0.99 a pound. Asked the butcher if he could get me a case of spares at that price and he told me he could. Ma Dutch stepped in and shot down that idea by reminding me that I still have half a case of pork butts in the freezer. Maybe I just need to get another freezer!!

See, its unfair because I can't find a packer to save my life. But I can run up to BJ's and get 100lbs of spares @ .99 cents all day, same price with butts and picnic's. Baby's @ $3.49 but only measly 4-5lb flats :-/
