Ft Lauderdale.
If I interpret Spanish correctly, i have a chance for a never used 18 for $200. I haven't dickered yet.
Will i wish I had got a 22? I'm still tying to offload a stick burner for patio space.

It all depends on what and how much grub your cooking at one time. I have the 22" and love it, but with that being said. I haven't used it in a couple of years. My kettles get all the work now. 200.00 for a NIB is a great price.

thanks chris. this is kind of a whim. I'm thinking i can put it in the camper pretty easy. I've got a MB560 for patio work.

$200 is a killer price if it is NIB. Tough choice there. I have never had a 22 but know there are times I wish I had never sold my 18 WSM. I don't think you will regret it, I think you will love it.

I had all 3 sizes, & the only thing that was great about the 22, is you can do full racks of ribs. But I have to say that I probably used the 14 more than the other 2. If I could get a 18 NIB for 200, I would probably go that route. Do you already have a Guru? WSM 22/ w Guru is one of the best setups around IMHO! I had some problems with the 18 & a Guru. You have to really throttle the Guru down, so I just used the vents on the 14 & 18, and used the Guru on the 22.

I would go ahead and nab that sucker if it's never been used. Especially if you can dicker the price a little. If you find it's too small, you could probably flip it and get most, if not all of your money back. I love my 18, but I don't smoke food for more than 3 or 4 people.

The price is pretty good if it is as described. If it fits in your RV. And the places you go allows smokers. Then I'd jump on it.

I use the 18 for most smokes now that I'm only cooking for two. I also have a drum smoker that covers anything I need a 22 to do.

I'm really happy with my 18" WSM. Just two of us at home now, though we often cook for 4-6 people when we run the smoker...otherwise we plan on a couple of meals of BBQ before we freeze the leftovers. I'd say I run it 15 times a year, and only once or twice a year do I wish I'd gotten the 22", either to cook bigger racks of ribs flat, or to have more room for appetizers along side the main protein(s).

I'm fortunate in that a neighbor also has an 18", that I can borrow for competitions, where I run both side-by-side.
