We are iced in right now. The whole region is completely shut down. Here in the Hill Country northwest of Austin we currently are up to about 3/4" of solid ice. Temps are well below freezing right now but supposed to go down into the teens tonight with wind chills around 0. Oh joy!!

I was hoping you would miss it. I wont be getting out until tomorrow when it gets above freezing. Getting some cooking done. Dog biscuits just went into oven. With the incredible winter we have had so far I am not bitching. If had a boat I could of been out fishing quite a bit but been enjoying going down to the Red River with fire and friends! Need someone to teach to catfish from the bank. Can't hardly find any without STPP added any more.

Well we had 3 out of 4 weekends in Jan with big storms . Yesterday it was 8 +deg C rained most of the day last night and today ) and freezing rain . Everything covered hard to get into truck. Good thing working from home. Lots of snow coming again tonight and tomorrow on top of all this ice ..
GOD I Wish I Was In Jamaica with my toes in the sand and the only ice I could see was in my big glass.....but I digress

Gretchen is like "WTH" in the video. Still got ice in trees here in the Memphis area. But the roads are clear. Power out in some areas. Fingers crossed this is it for the winter.
