I just ate the last of my pulled pork from the freezer.  It kinda got me thinking.  My first year of smoking is almost complete.  I learned so much, mainly from this board.  So far in this Winter "offseason" I've managed to lose 31 of the 37 pounds I set out to lose.  I also now have begun the process of building my UDS!  (I still need to locate by barrel though.)  My cheap rig just doesn't hold heat in these WI winters.  I do hope my UDS is built and has a dozen smokes under its belt by the time the snow flies next ear.  I've also secured next years wood supply.

So thank you for everything and stayed tuned as there will be plenty of smoker build pictures and qview to follow from this guy!

Thank you all again for all the information this past year.  AND thank you in advance for the next 1000 questions I'll have.

Have a great week everyone!

Scott

Congrats on losing those pounds.. that's not easy with all the qview around here!

Hope it is over for all of you. Honestly that is why I live in CA. Spent 3 years living in Colorado and traveling the whole middle of the country got to experience -70 in Minot one year. I will take the sun thank you

I'm with you Scar, but it's been unusually cold here in Florida this winter. Although this week the highs are forecast to be in the upper 70's. Hope it stays that way for the rest of the winter.
