I think we should now consider wine barrel smokers at PDS or pretty drum smoker. Great job. Wish I had a wine barrel laying around. Would love to build one but ain't got the $ to buy a barrel like that

I just bought a whiskey barrel, planning  WBS - starting with the usual 3 1" vents on the bottom, BUT I'm thinking about putting a spigot http://cgi.ebay.com/WOOD-SPIGOT-SPO...RREL-PART-/160466222516?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0  in one hole.

Think it will let in enough air for about 240F
