All done with these things. Getting to old for these things and I wrecked my right index finger on a door casing carrying one. Mini splits are going in next year, new deck will wait another year.
Consider getting a heat pump unit combo. Not much more money… Mini splits are going in next year, new deck will wait another year.
That's absolutely the plan.Consider getting a heat pump unit combo. Not much more money
Very good points for ArizonaThey are a solution for single room A/C and heating. A small unit sits generally high on a wall, with an outside unit, connected by plumbing and wiring. They do not replace whole house air conditioning, and several mini-split units would be less efficient in trying to perform that function. If you have a bedroom or say, kitchen that needs cooling so you can sleep or cook, they are ideal. I considered putting one in my garage, but I won't be hanging on to this house long enough for it to make sense. They are basically ac/heat for one room.
Single level ranch. Adjoined LV room/kitchen so one unit covers that. 3 beds/one bath, one unit for the master and one for the wife's office. The units I can get at cost plus labor and with the tax incentives it's doable.normanaj is Rhode Island. I have no idea on his heating and cooling requirements.
