So GFS (Gordons Food Services) is offering pork belley (10lb average.) from Wichita Packing Comp. for $2.99 lb .... Anybody have any experience with the brand ??
Good
Bad or
Indifference ??

No , but I've been looking at them . They sell it frozen , but what I can see of the profile , the lean to fat looks good . Thickness is nice , and even too .
I haven't tried it yet , because the regular bacon is pretty good , and not a bad price .

Nice price
How big are the packages Keith Rich?
I'm stuck with Costco up in the chilly north but wasn't happy with the slab belly. The meat shop always chooses the best belly to slice up for the burnt ends fans

The ones they have now are a 10 pound average .
The first ones they stocked were huge . Folded in half . Price was around 80 bucks on those .

I watch it like a hawk , and Wed. / Thur . are the delivery days .
Looks like they have 8 in stock . Might take a ride over .
