Great way to start the morning Craig - I looked real hard at the Behmor and thought I would never roast a whole pound - I was dead wrong on that one. My kids come and steal all my coffee

Craig, Since hurricane Isaac I have been helping a coworker repair his house from flooding

......He was not required to have flood insurance and well long story short, the old man down the street, that's 81 said that he has never seen that much water in his life. So we (my son and I) have been volunteering to help him repair his house. I'm hoping we get it finished up this weekend so I can get back on the horse

Yup..

I roasted 14 ounces today..the Behmor wasnt thrilled with the smaller beans. I shook the cage before the roast and quite a few fell thru.

I am gonna get some from this guy soon..A few more bucks but a larger bean..

I know Craig but the Sweet Marias reviews are awesome and very helpful - not to mention they are very much into sustainable farmers

Maybe so..I find it quite annoying to navigate and wont be buying anything there.

I am gonna try roastmasters and see how it goes..

Congrats, My next venture will be coffee roasting.  Retirement is great.  Also gotta try those cigars, but gurkha's are so inexpensive now I'm pretty stocked up on them.  Oh well, it's fun trying something new.  Keep on keeping on.  Steve
