    thought i'd take a poll to see whether people prefer their butt with or without the bone.

  2. The meat in that bone is always some of the best to me and I love sliding out the bone on a perfectly done butt.

    natures perfect lil doness indicator. If it don't pull out with little effort, it aint done.

    Definitely bone in....some little flavor, doneness indicator, and a little heat conduction.

    Bone in, some of the boneless ones also have a nasty looking green gland in them that I have to find and cut out before making sausage

    Glad everyone is being so clean with this one. Bone in. We go with whatever to butcher shop has that day. We use all bones and scraps to lure in the coyotes for fun shots.
