Which brand of food sealer do you prefer? I owned a Foodsaver in the past but it didn't last long. I need to buy another and thought I'd ask your opinion?
Thanks

Just bought the food saver at Sams yesterday and I like it so far seems simple enogh to operate and works well. But like above never owned one before so.........

Ditto with that! I know there are many models to choose from. Spend a few extra $ and get a better model. Do some research on it. Go to the Consumer Reports site, or go to the library and look it up. The one I got a Costco several years ago is still "vacuuming" just fine.

I have had my foodsaver for about 4 years now. Works good for me with no complaints. Being a woodworker and mixing a lot of my finishes I use the jar seal attachment to seal my finishes. Now they don't get a skin on them like they did before...
