Verifying I am Human?

Understand the need for additional security. Will the failed handshake disappear once Cloudfare is "adjusted "?

Sorry for telling Muse to index all your content and write unrealistically-witty replies for me.

The thing is I try to safe too, hence not using a browser that is a data miner.

I'll check the suggestions here and see how that goes.

Oh yeah. I never said I was human, but when I click the button then I'm not a bot either.

Firefox can mine all my data it wants. It's worthless, anyway. No one, not even data miners, care about 2 old retired gits living in the rural boonies of an out-island in the middle of the Pacific. :D

7 members currently on, 2423 guests... so probably about 2400 bots online!

Well just checking in here again on Chrome as I can't access this at all on Helium.

Now I have to verify I am human on Chrome as well? At least it thinks I am human. Not to mention my VPN is turned off just to say "G'Day"?

Getting as we say it in DownSide Up Land... "A bit sh!t".

Hopefully SMF can work this out.

Cloudflare isn't browser specific, you'll encounter this verification with any browser. But Chromium based browsers have issues with the Cloudflare verification process on this site and many others.

Firefox is built on Gecko so I'd suggest looking into a privacy based browser like Librewolf as an alternative to Helium which is built on Chromium and still considered to be in beta status.

Welcome to the brave new world of AI bots. These types of verifications aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

yea ive stayed away because of it. site is way laggy too. not as user friendly as used to be so......

Righto, well maybe some further personal research is required.

I like Helium. It is Opaque.

Old hand at Firefox. Not for 15 years though.

Librewolf? Sounds like a Linux browser? Worth a look too I suppose.

Just not today.
