What was the last concert that you went to?

Never been to one.

When I was 14, BTO came to Columbus (GA) and I FINALLY got my parents to let me go with my BF, Lisa, and her brother. The plan was for him to drop us off and then pick us up after the concert. The OTHER part of the plan was that we'd skip school that day (yes, I was a bit of a wild child!).

Alas, we got caught by none other than my Dad, who had a hunch something was going on so he drove through Lisa's neighborhood and there we were, walking up to the store for cigs.

He gave me a choice..."if you think you deserve to go, you can go", so OF COURSE I couldn't go (I wasn't quite "that" wild!).

Never tried to go to another one because no one I wanted to see ever came to our town again (not enough ticket sales I guess) and I'd rather chew glass than go to Atlanta for anything.

I've seen Diamond Reo, great band/show.
My wife and I like them alot.

I've also had the pleasure to make several skydives with their guitarist, Jimmy Olander. We met at the World Free Fall Convention in the early 2000s. I had him sign my logbook for one jump.

Just bought tickets to see Sabaton, Pop Evil and Wings of Steel.
Coca Cola Roxy, Atlanta, March 18th.
The Roxy is a great venue. Thankfully they moved it out of Midtown/Buckhead when the Braves built the new stadium up in Marietta a few years ago. It's literally adjacent to the new stadium. Great area. They built up a large area around it called The Battery. It's full of bars, restaurants, ect. And essentially no crime unlike downtown. Very clean and lots of parking nearby (for a price). I've been to the Roxy 3 times and we go to a Braves game 3 or 4 times a year. I sure as hell don't miss the get in and then get the f' out as soon as its over mentality of downtown. It's one of the best areas around Atlanta.
