Chickens love all fresh vegetables. “Pico de gallo” translates as chicken feed or pecking. They love all of that. Make a salad and give the chickens the peels, the tomato tops and bottoms everything vegetables they love, potato peels too.

Want to have fun, go to a store with earth worms for fish bait. Buy a cup and pour it out for them. They go berserk! Fun to watch.

Got a carcass left over from last nights supper? Chuck it in there and they will pick it clean too. Mine always have a feast the day after Thanksgiving with what I don't keep for soup.

Yup. Chickens are voracious eaters. More aggressive than most predators.

Rained the past 2 days so all I did was feed them.
Last night we had a freeze so this morning I went to get all the ice broke and gather the eggs.

Guess they were like thinking.
"Hey he is right we dont want to be in the freezer, lets drop some eggs"
