A bunch of ol' crab shells and claws from a crab picking we had one afternoon. We were aslo smoking a couple chickens for the coming week while we boiled the crabs and drank beer. The chickens got done and put away, and we were still eating crabs and french fries, and after all was said and done, I threw a bunch of the crabshells into the smoker at the end of the feast. The next morning, I poked around and gingerly tasted the shells, I figured they couldn't be that bad. The smoked Old Bay Seasoning left over on the shells was pretty damn good!
