What did you cook for SB LX?

I was supposed to smoke 80 racks of ribs and 20 spatchcock chickens at the Moose lodge, like I did last yr. Instead, I sat in an ICU room with my wife and father. He had a knee replacement last week and while in the hospital he had a stomach ulcer erupt. Good thing he was in the hospital when it happened, or he would've bled out for sure, they gave him 6 units of blood. He's not out of the woods yet, and still in the ICU unit, so if you can say a prayer for him, please do.

Hang in there Pop's!!!!:emoji_fingers_crossed::emoji_fingers_crossed::emoji_pray:

Wife made a simple cheese dip in the crockpot and I threw a frozen pizza (Philly cheese steak) in the oven. Was going to do fresh fried fish but was tired if standing after walking on the ice most of the afternoon
Wow! Would love to eat some of those. I still have some Bluegill I got from walleyedirect last year. They have been my favorite. I getting ready to order yellow perch. $40 a pound but only way I can get them. I am getting my order together now. been a couple years since they have had smelt. Those are probably my favorite thing to eat when i in Michigan. I have some Northern Pike left but just to many bones. I been meaning to pickle them.

Yeah know $40 per pound sounds bad but if I start adding up how much I have invested in my ice fishing equipment it makes me shutter. Just lures alone would be nuts, especially beings I use tungsten a lot, then you have my variety of ice rods and reels with some being custom.
Yeah $40 don't sound to terrible now

Thank you, Bruth'a!!!

Pop's is in his mid 80's so it's a little concerning.
Super glad I have family to share hospital duty with, sitting in those hospital chairs ain't no fun at all.
