This can be What will I be watching. Since I canceled DTV a while ago I decided to set up a NAS server with a 12 terabyte drive. Now I am starting with my Blu Ray discs ripping them to my computer then converting to the highest quality MP4 files. Next will be the DVD and 4K disks.

When all is said and done I will be able to access the whole collection of 1000+ movies and TV shows from any device in the house.

The only downside is it takes a while. Blu Ray takes about and hour per disc to rip. That I am doing as I sit here on my computer. Converting to MP4 takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours. That is more intensive so I do that when I am away from the computer and just let them run.

It works great on my Phones and tablets so far but have more work to get it to run on the Roku and smart TV's. The built in Video Center adds the movie posters and info at the loading screen but I need to get Plex configured to get it on the TV's.

Just watched Chapter 1 of Horizon ........................... what a mess. I'm not sure what it was trying to say.

Watched it also, glad I did not pay to watch it. To much bouncing to describe who is who .
But it was a western so I had to watch. If and when the other parts come out I will try and follow them also.

It was 3 1/2 hours of introducing characters. I was constantly wondering .... where are we ? Who are these people ? What are they doing ? ......... then the scene changes and repeat the same questions.

I got it on Netflix. Will probably watch Chapter 2 , just to see if they can tie any of this together.

Taylor Sheridan just can't miss. With Paramount you also have his Mayor of Kingstown , Lioness, Lawman Bass Reeves , 1883 and 1923.

Recently canceled a couple of streaming services because they just weren't worth it to me any more. I have, however, been very impressed with the selection on Kanopy, which is FREE if you have a library card with a participating library. Lately, I've been on a classics bender (Alfred Hitchcock, Akira Kurosawa, Sergio Leone) but looking forward to some newer stuff, too.

Harlen Coben's "Missing You" on Netflix. Crime mystery. Binged.

The Brit versions are the best. There are several Harlen Coben mysteries on Netflix. All grab you and keep you guessing.
