Great show. I had read long ago that the release was delayed for years because of copywrite issues with the songs that were played on the show. Has that been resolved, or is this release w/o the songs?
BTW, she wasn't the lead female actress, but back then I had the hots for Bailey.
That is interesting but not surprising about the CW. Yes Bailey was a beauty.

Forgot to add that I ordered a DVD set. I wont get it until the end of the month. I can report back on the background music then.

I just watched "In the Heart of the Sea" on Netflix. Ron Howard films are usually solid. I'd give it a thumbs up.

AMA Supercross (SX)... 1st race of the season.... Live on USA ...
That dude just took a nasty spill! Makes my body hurt just watching them lol!

Wasn't supercross but but got to know Pat McHenry the last few years of his life, he was a heck of a guy!

Just finished Peaky Blinder's season 5, one more to go. I started watching it back mid summer, made it to the end of season 4 and then got side tracked. Went to start watching season 5 the other day and about 15 minutes in decided to start from the beginning. Really dig it!

Maybe those two bikinied rears they show frequently would offset his distaste for the words 😆
You would think, but my dad has become a very "faithful" man in his old age and isn't OK with exploitation either. I'm pro-choice on just about everything, but that includes the beliefs of others, so I dont hold it against him. A good friend of mine, while he will drink a beer, he will refuse a bottle of "Devil's Backbone" (a Virginia brewery) because his faith doesn't permit him to consume anything even remotely referring to...you know, the "fallen angel" (trying to stay in a lane here). He smokes "stuff" all day though...literally nothing in the book about that!
Landman can't hold a candle to the language in Mayor Of Kingstown ...
I'll bet. I think we may have tried to watch that and hated it. Didn't care for Tulsa King either, for whatever reason.
I still can! :emoji_joy:
I misspoke, I still can too! S.P.F.C.C.M.T!
Has anyone watched any of Paramount"s Lioness?
We liked the first season enough to start watching the second while we still have our Paramount trial bargain through January. I enjoyed the first two episodes last night. That's my kind of stuff. The action actually wakes my wife up enough to remember the episodes...thats good because the bourbon, even though I'm awake, seems to interfere with my recollection!

I avoided Peaky Blinders for a long time. Just the name sounded stupid to me and I'm not a huge "crime syndicate" program fan either. But, after seeing the consistent high review numbers, gave it a shot, and we liked it all in the end.
