We now this in an interesting challenge. I will have to think about it. Should be easy for me as I have only smoked a few things.

Hey Carpetride, got an idea for ya, and the rest of ya. What if every week or every 2 weeks, we pick something to smoke. Say this week it going to be a pork loin, those that wish to participate do so, then the ones who did participate, post them with pics and tell how they went about it and so on. Kinda like a cookoff, know what I mean? Just an idea.

Im in! Im going to smoke a Pork Loin. Im not sure on the receipe yet but Ill post!!!

Great challenge! What have I not smoked in the last 12 months???? hmmmmmmmm. Man this will be a hard one, won't be home alot this weekend so will have to be something thagt can be done in 3-4 hours while I work around the yard.

I believe it will be a couple of Cornish Hens for me. I've threatening to do these for sometime but something always comes up.

Just post a link here to the thread of your Qview.

Well, I'm going to NKC Comp Friday and Saturday. Not Competing, just observing and sampling.

I currently have a 13.5lb. Packer in the Fridge, wet aging. It has about 2 weeks more to go. That will have to be another ALL NIGHT SMOKE at a later date....YES!!!

I have a Pork Loin and a Butt in the Freezer Chest. So, with time being a factor, Pork Loin for Sunday supper it is!

Wow, this is gonna be a great weekend! Maybe I can get some loin ideas from Competition and use them for this Challenge. Since I'm only gonna be a "'Que Groupie" this time around, I'll see just how much info I can get the teams to .

Good luck to all!

And I'm with MG...

Ok, I put it off long enough... My first Brisket is getting rubbed down tonight... I promise not to have any excuses on why it wasnt finished this weekend.

You all have given me some great ideas for a lot of things... Dawns chicken wings, the burgerdogs thingys, a fattie... who knows what this weekend will bring!

I'm smoking some Chicken Breasts, Thighs and Drumsticks. Slathered with a little Jack Miller's Sauce.

i saw some qview here recently of some pork steaks that looked great. i've smoked spares, country style ribs and a meatloaf before, but never pork steaks. might give these a try!

another idea would be FiredUp's cheeseburgerdoggers! maybe i'll do both!

it all depends on the weather up here in north-central montana. if i am able to do anything, will post qview.

I'm going to do my first ever fatty.
I've got a pound of Old Folk Country Sausage - Medium. I'm going to fill it with spinich, a 5 cheese Italian blend and I have a batch of marinated portabella mushrooms and red peppers I'm going to put in it. I hope the spinich doesn't turn to mush.

That's the appetizer that I've never made before.

I'm also going to make my own sauce.

Then I'm going to do a small boneless (unfortnately that's all the store had tonight) pork butt and some chicken thighs.

The bug has bitten and the weather is getting better. I'll get some picts up hopefully on Sunday or Monday.

Have a great weekend all and happy smoking!
